What a great day was had on Saturday 29th August at the Kempston Fun Day.
The event was opened by EastEnders Star Letitia Dean along side the Mayor of Kempston and Richard Fuller MP.
With events going on in the arena with kids fighting of the WRYNGWYRN Vikings, Bedford Pipe Band giving a wonderful display of pipe music, Red Cuthbert Morris Dancers showing off their skills wielding batons & bells, ARAF rescue with their excellent Dog Display and of course Mikes Line Dancers cheering us all up with their normal aplomb.
The excellent display of Classic cars, the Fire & Rescue service, The Police Liaison unit and of course the health and welfare provided by the St John’s Ambulance Service all led to making it a great day out.
The stall holders all enjoyed the large turnout. and of course the Fun Fare kept the children happy.
Below are just a few photographs that have been put together to give a flavour of the day and we hope and look forward to another good year in 2016.
